This is an excellent article for teachers, parents, and learners. It takes an evidence-based approach to describe what learners need to understand in order to become “effective stewards of their learning.” The article describes dangerous beliefs and misperceptions about learning, while simultaneously providing concrete suggestions for developing maximally effective learning.
